Joey's second exhibition

In the quiet moments this afternoon while both Lanna and Sammy slept, Joey and I had a chance to look back through his photos.

He's taken nearly 500 pictures since he first started back in September!

We were able to look through quite a few.  Seeing his face light up and recalling times in Madrid, Barcelona, Cassis, and Monaco was priceless.  These photos help jog both our memories as three months ago feels almost like three years.

Joey thought back to those moments when he took those pictures and provided some dynamic 5 year old insight.  His photographic style is certainly maturing as he only dropped the camera once and hasn't put his finger on the lens since Madrid!

Madrid, Spain:  The Cafe

“This is Cafe Pinchos Pinchos.  Do you remember we used to play the game where we pinched each other when we walked past it and yell “Pinchos pinchos!”

Editor's note:  The cafe is actually called El Cano, but serves pinchos (very similar to tapas) and we let Joey believe it was called Pinchos Pinchos since he was so enthusiastic about the pinching.

Madrid, Spain:  The Bride

“I was trying to get a picture of the lady getting married.  I think her name might have been Maria. I yelled out “Congratulations” in Spanish but I forgot what that word was.”

Barcelona, Spain:  The Mediterranean Sea

“I was trying to get the Mediterranean Sea.  I couldn’t get just the Mediterranean Sea and so this building is in the picture too.”

Cassis:  The Tile Puzzle

“I thought this looked kinda funny because I thought there was a street called that.  And it looks kinda like a puzzle of underwater fish.”

Monaco:  Yellow Ferrari

“I was thinking, I should get a picture of this Ferrari.”

Monaco:  Wraith and Ferrari

“I really liked Monaco.  I took this picture because it was the first Rolls Royce I have ever seen except with was a Rolls Royce Wraith.  And I wanted to get the yellow Ferrari too since it looked pretty fancy.”
